Mr VR Sooria brings a wealth of experience to the Company, beginning his career in 1989 with CMS Enhancements Inc, a US Fortune 500 company, headquartered in Singapore and having its affiliated companies in the Asia Pacific Region. A year later Mr VR Sooria was head hunted to lead the Hard Drive Division of Imagineering Distribution Pte. Ltd, a well established company in Singapore, listed in the local and Australian Stock Exchange. During his term at the helm of this Division, he was credited with being responsible for generating the highest turnover ever, in the history of the company in the Asia Pacific Region. He moved on to incorporate, together with 2 other Co Directors, Asia Pac Distribution Pte Ltd, a leading Information Technology company and which today is a multi million dollar organization. Having divested himself of his interest in this company, Morgan Mamtri went on to incorporate Far East Micro Technology (S) Pte Ltd (FEMT) with majority shareholding in it. The company dealt with Systems Integration in the IT industry, and which he then grew to become one of the first companies to enter the Eastern block countries such as the Soviet Union. He was also responsible for implementing a 2-way radio in the rural areas of the former Soviet Union, having obtained the necessary skills and training in the telecommunication industry and the necessary accreditation to implement telecommunication systems in the rural areas which lack a proper infrastructure. He secured contracts with Motorola (Yaesu and Alinco Japan, to name a few) for this purpose and established his company there. He was far sighted enough to move into economies that few would venture into in the early days when the political and economic climate was not conducive for such expansion. Today, with his diversified skills and experience, Mr VR Sooria has expanded into a wide range of business activities, including Communications, Commodity & Metal Trade, Travel, Insurance, Finance, Marine and Construction.
